The General Surgery unit, otherwise known as CP 15, is a 20 bed unit with an average daily census of 19.
For the most part our patient population is composed of patients following gastrointestinal surgeries (ie whipples, liver resections, colorectal, bariatric, etc.
).
We are proud to be an accredited Center of Excellence for bariatric surgeries.
We work closely with our surgical teams to ensure excellent care of all our patients.
We do have some medical patients on occasion as well.
We are a busy unit with opportunities to learn and practice a variety of skills such as; ostomies, all types of GI drains, tube feedings, pain management pumps, insulin drips, and more.
We are an excellent place to receive a solid medical surgical foundation.
We have an excellent team player culture and are proud to say we have team members whose time here ranges from a few months to 10 and 20
years.

1 or more years recent RN experience with acute care patients.
CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.
Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.

ACLS preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
