About Us Fisheries Supply Company is a family-owned business located next to Gasworks Park in the center of Seattle's maritime industry.
Since opening our doors in 1928, Fisheries Supply has become the largest distributor of marine products in the Pacific Northwest and is continually growing and shipping to our customers globally.
With a 40,000 square foot warehouse and one of the broadest selections of inventory in our industry, we serve boat dealers, builders and yards, chandleries, commercial fishermen and recreational boaters across the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and beyond.
About the Position We currently have full-time positions open in our fast-paced warehouse.
We are looking for quick learning, independent workers with a drive to meet daily goals and great attention to detail.
We stock an array of parts ranging in size, so you must be able to physically lift items weighing up to 40 lbs and be on your feet the entire shift.
We use scanner guns to accurately receive freight, pick orders, and manage our inventory.
Understanding computers and handheld electronics is essential.
Core Job Responsibilities Picking orders, ensuring product accuracy, and processing shipment.
Pre-receiving freight shipments and inspecting deliveries for damage.
Receiving freight shipments thoroughly and precisely, reviewing vendor packing slips.
Utilize effective inventory management practices and maintain organization for efficiency.
Present order and inventory discrepancies to warehouse management.
Use of equipment such as scanners, pallet jacks, lifts, forklifts, picking carts, computers, and printers.
Ability to lift 40 pounds, squat, bend, climb, walk, and be on your feet for the duration of the shift.
Maintains professional, respectful, open communication with others.
Able to work independently and in teams.
Maintain work area to keep a clean and safe environment.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
Experience Previous warehouse work, or inventory management is a plus but not required; we will train the right candidate.
Relevant experience and or college education preferred.
