Blue Origins Legal Department is looking for a Patent Attorney.
As part of a hardworking and efficient team of diverse Legal specialists, you will be working with the coolest technology on Earth! This position reports to the Chief Counsel of Contracts and IP.
Responsibilities include engaging engineers and technicians to identify and cultivate patentable aspects of Blue Origins technologies, managing outside patent counsel on patent prosecution, contributing to the management of Blue Origins patent portfolio, and providing intellectual property counsel on various commercial transactions.

Passion for our mission and vision is required! Juris Doctor and Bachelors degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or the equivalent 6
years of experience as a patent attorney, either prosecuting patents or participating in patent litigation (or a mix of both) At least 3 years of private law firm experience, showing roles with increasing responsibility Registered to practice before the USPTO Experience with inbound/outbound technology licensing Bachelors degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or the equivalent Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion Must be a U.

permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.
