Job Description We currently have a unique opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer in our Seattle WA office.
We are a Top Notch Multi Discipline Engineering Firm who has assembled an exceptional team of professionals who provide engineering expertise to the architectural and construction community in the fields of structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design.
In the Mechanical Design Engineer role, you will have the opportunity to lead and assure quality on all mechanical projects and work performed by the Mechanical Department.

Design of air distribution systems Design of hydronic systems Scheduling and selecting major equipment Automatic temperature controls system design and specification Cooling/heating load calculations Construction administration Assist with project management Attend client meetings Job Requirements Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical /HVAC Engineering.

years' experience designing mechanical systems for the built environment.
Project experience submitted for consideration should include buildings on which you have actively participated in the project from the design phase through the final construction close-out.
Experience with refrigeration systems and grocery store design Experience of the design of HVAC systems and automatic temperature controls for a broad range of commercial systems Working knowledge of building and energy codes Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to organize and present design information to clients.

License and/ or LEED AP preferred Working knowledge of Revit software.
Valid Drivers License Perform mechanical design and design evaluations Perform specialized mechanical engineering calculations Prepare technical specifications for mechanical engineering equipment Perform mechanical design work and documentation Prepare mechanical drawings and develop specifications Provide mechanical engineering support to other engineers Handling all aspects of mechanical design Resolve issues related to mechanical engineering Read and understand mechanical drawings Evaluate design calculations and data from mechanical engineering perspective Developing mechanical design procedures and practices Allocate fees for mechanical engineering work Prepare cost estimates of mechanical components Execute mechanical designs for assigned projects Act as a mechanical systems leader including ownership of critical mechanical components Create engineering design drawings per customer specifications Fabricate, modify and evaluate mechanical or electro-mechanical components and systems Provide mechanical design engineering for electronics packaging for avionics applications Complete all preliminary mechanical/ electrical design work Perform work related to mechanical design related work Recommended Skills Autocad Autodesk Revit Engineer In Training Engineering Design Process Hvac Professional Engineer Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
