Position Description You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the Systems Engineering Department and is the NAVSEA Air Capable Ships (ACS) Aviation/Ship Integration (A/SI) Assistant Program Manager for Systems Engineering (APMSE).
The position is a General Engineer performing as the Lead Systems Engineer Air Capable Ships.
The position is for an APMSE supporting acquisition and in service engineering support for aviation systems as part of the ACS branch of Aviation/Ship Integration (A/SI).
Position Duties/Responsibilities You will be responsible and accountable to lead engineering and technical efforts for bridging the interface to integrate aircraft, weapons, and other aviation systems managed by aviation PEOs and PMAs, with shipboard systems and facilities.
You will apply advanced theories, concepts, principles and processes in research and engineering, test and evaluation and logistics functions.
You will manage a small to medium scale/scope or segments of a project/program.
Applies tools such as but not limited to:
Risk Management, Configuration Management, Data Management, Trade-off Analysis/Trade Studies.
You will deliver optimized technical solutions that are balanced to achieve required technical performance within cost, schedule and technology constraints.
