Corporate Counsel, Alexa

We are looking for a talented Corporate Counsel to support our rapidly growing and evolving Alexa voice service, the brain behind our Amazon Echo family of devices and the many other products that enable access to Alexa.
You'll be a leader in the legal team responsible for counseling the Alexa business on a broad range of commercial, licensing, technology, and regulatory matters and structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions.
You will work directly with the business, serving as lead counsel on strategic issues and deals, providing day-to-day input on business and strategy, advising on the launch of new products and features, resolving issues that arise in commercial relationships, and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways, and you will build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
Key job responsibilitiesPrincipal duties include providing ongoing legal counseling in a wide range of legal areas, including intellectual property, digital media, privacy, and regulatory compliance, and structuring, drafting and negotiating complicated technology, distribution, licensing, marketing and other commercial agreements.
Some travel will be required.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Seattle, WA, USA Sunnyvale, CA, USA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
