Mechanical Process Engineer
Senior Mechanical Process Engineer needed! We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Senior Mechanical Process Engineer (local candidates strongly preferred) who is seeking a challenging opportunity that is comfortable functioning independently and as part of a team.
o Interface with operating personnel at client sites to conduct analyze and solve client problems o Take engineering accountability for the delivery of multi-disciplinary small CAPEX and Operations projects o Identify and close all technical gaps between the disciplines Mechanical, Civil, Structural Engineering disciplines o Develop specifications for mechanical equipment o Manage and take accountability for civil / structural design package through the use of external subcontracted firm o Work and communicate with project management team, including providing regular progress and schedule reporting o Assume engineering accountability and approval of subcontracted packaged equipment including technical accountability for sub-vendor scopes of supply for packaged equipment and equipment items o Responsible for field engineering, construction planning, and field Support o Perform facility assessments and optimization o Ability to multi-task and support multiple concurrent small to medium facilities Minimum Qualifications o Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical, chemical engineering or relevant field experience (required) o 3
years' experience in Natural Gas Processing, Mid-Stream, LNG plants or related continuous chemical processing (required) o Field experience including construction, commissioning, start-up, and operational support (required) o Proven track record of successfully delivering small to medium size multi-disciplinary projects where you were directly accountable for identifying and closing technical gaps to exceed customer expectations o We specialize in the operations of small to mid-scale LNG assets, therefore a career dedicated to operations and operations engineering is essential o 3rd party service supplier experience a plus o A proven ability to guide, coach and support the development of junior engineers and operators required o Strong written and verbal communication skills (required) o Ability to interact effectively with vendors and clients (approximately 50% of your work involves internal interaction - 50% external) o International experience - we execute work across the globe (beneficial) Recommended Skills Assessments Chemical Engineering Coaching And Mentoring Communication Construction Hardworking And Dedicated Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
