Key job responsibilitiesDrafting and documenting a variety of commercial contractual relationships, including service agreements and work orders, marketing agreements, sponsorship agreements, and talent agreements; identifying and implementing process improvements; documenting processes; and providing training and guidance to business clients on contracts, policies, and guidelinesA day in the lifeYou will serve as primary legal support for the Amazon Music business,working on a variety of commercial and intellectual property agreements for all Amazon Music business teams.
You will draft, review and negotiate these agreements and guide business clients through applicable approval processes.
You will draft and negotiate more unique contractual relationships under guidance of manager/counsel.
You will own and drive process improvement, standard agreement updates, and simplification and automation projects.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to work efficiently and independently; manage high volumes of tasks and projects with little guidance; react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround; take effective action without knowing the total picture; and think creatively and be proactive in solving problems that affect people within the group or other related groups.
The candidate will also be client-service oriented, have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines, have great organization skills, and have the ability to easily switch gears.
A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the company, is essential to the role.
