Corporate Counsel, AWS Legal

Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented attorney to support our edge computing services for Amazon Web Services (AWS).
AWS is at the forefront of the cloud computing industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute, storage, database, messaging, and more.
AWS also develops advanced IOT, machine learning, and other devices and services.
We're looking for a products counseling attorney to support some of AWS's most innovative computing tools and services.
In this role, you will work directly with the business team as lead counsel to develop new products and services that are deployed at the edge of AWS's cloud, including AWS Outposts, Local Zones, Private5G, Snow, and with duties including:
identifying legal risks and proposing mitigation strategies; advising on regulatory and compliance matters, privacy, intellectual property, and go-to-market strategy; drafting and negotiating commercial licensing agreements; and providing day-to-day input on business strategy.
Your role will give you the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including privacy, public relations, and public policy teams.
You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways, and you will build processes that address risk and allow the business to innovate and scale quickly.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
