Sake Tasting, we offer a wide range of event experience and involvement for our staff! While this job is a lot of fun, it is also a lot of work and we are looking for the right people to join our team.
Before you read more about the position, understand that this position is not a full-time job. We schedule our staff based on their availability, as most events we run are on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Our Event Specialists are one of the most important parts of our operation and play a pivotal role in shaping the customer's off-line experience with the Sound Excursions brand. We truly believe that our staff are the heartbeat of the company. Event Specialists are responsible for the managing execution and logistics of our events on the day-of, as well as ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. We seek individuals who can shine in every environment and can get along with virtually anybody. Our Event Specialists are the life of the party!
We expect the following of our Event Specialists:
- Act as the face of Sound Excursions
- Balancing event expertise, efficiency and entertainment of guests
- Engage with guests while maintaining full control of event logistics and safety
- Account for every detail while ensuring that each event runs seamlessly
- Ensure that all of our customers are having fun and enjoying the event
- Assist in spreading the word about our events -- creativity is a bonus!
- Maintain strong relationships with all vendors and event partners
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Previous guiding experience preferred but not required
- Awesome sense of humor
- Unparalleled work ethic paired with fun attitude
- Ability to problem solve
- Exciting, engaging, dynamic personality
- Comfortable with public speaking
- Self-starter

- Flexibility - You could be managing check-in for a 400 person boat cruise on one evening and facilitating a 55 person bus trip to Leavenworth the next day - and you wouldn't want it any other way!
